Well, the Chinese press is dragging out what look like classic Space Age illustrations to make their point:

A couple weeks ago I saw a CCTV-9 piece on this same theme, except they used old uncredited Star Trek movie and TV footage. No characters, but lots of Enterprise as seen from space footage.
